Maria Menounos, a 1996 Medford High School graduate known most recently as a host for E! News, has opened up a healthy-eating concession stand outside of Fenway Park, according to The Boston Globe.

Maria’s Greek Kitchen opened on Labor Day and features gyros, lettuce wraps, hummus plates, and kebobs.

“I know for me, when I go to games, and if you go to more than one game a year, you want to have some healthier options,” said Menounos, who used to sell sausages outside the ballpark and clean nightclubs on Landsdowne Street. “And a lot of people are really looking to eat healthier…So I wanted to give people another option, and hopefully they love it.”

Menounos is making use of Fenway’s new rooftop garden by incorporating the fresh vegetables into her menu. The Medford native released her first cookbook in 2016. She recently spoke publicly about both her and her mothers’ battles with brain tumors. Menounos said she is taking more time to slow down and find more balance in her life.
