Wynn Boston Harbor President Robert DeSalvio announced on Facebook yesterday that the Everett casino will open on June 24, 2019.
According to DeSalvio, rooms will be available for booking a year before the casino opens.
DeSalvio revealed other details about the coming casino while standing amid the construction, which began a year ago.
Three water shuttles will bring people from Boston to the casino and there will also be shuttles from the Wellington and Malden train stations. A massive parking garage is being constructed underground.
While DeSalvio demurred on revealing names, he said Wynn Boston Harbor will have a similar quality of entertainment and dining that currently exists at its Vegas and Macau locations. The new casino will have both casual and fine dining, including a steakhouse, Italian restaurant, sports bar, oyster bar, and “craft” beer and cocktails. There will also be a nightclub, spa, and convention space for meetings in addition to luxury retailers.
DeSalvio said the construction is proceeding on time and more details will be revealed at a later date about specific stores, restaurants, and entertainment.
