Medford High School landed on a list of top 100 public high schools in the state, according to Niche, a site focused on helping people find ideal places to live.
Niche ranked MHS #93, a number based upon a “rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education.” The ranking also includes state test scores, college readiness factors, graduation rates, SAT scores, teacher quality, and high school ratings.
Malden, Revere, Somerville, and Arlington also made the top 100 list. Lexington and Cambridge took the top two spots, respectively. According to the state department of education, there are 396 public secondary schools in Massachusetts.
