Mystic Makerspace Art Party and Open House Jan. 12th

Mystic Maker SpaceWe’re starting off 2017 with a Mystic Makerspace Art Party & Open House on Thursday, January 12. Join us from 7-9 pm in the Magoun room at the Medford Public Library where we’ll have music, refreshments, and an awesome array of materials, tools and crafts available for you to create a unique project on the spot! You can also fill up goodie bags with our stock of supplies to use for future at-home creative endeavors.

We are most excited to present Mayor Stephanie Muccini Burke our Community Quilt, which you all helped to create this Summer and Fall. It will be displayed in City Hall for residents to enjoy in the New Year.

Save the date and bring friends! We look forward to Making and Creating with you in 2017. Happy New Year!

The Mystic Makers believe learning to make empowers individuals and strengthens community. The Mystic Makerspace is a collective source of tools, space, education, and materials made available to all. We provide equal opportunity access to a safe and welcoming environment where community members can learn to create and repair by sharing skills, knowledge and tools.

At the Mystic Makerspace, we dream big, imagine immensely, experiment rashly, discover boldly, and even *fail* safely. You can write code, knit sweaters, master mosaics, and make friends. What you make is up to you. We share ideas about creating and building. We pool our resources, talent and tools. And we learn from each other in a friendly, supportive environment.

We are a project of the Medford Arts Center, Inc, a registered 501(c)3 organization, and our programs are made possible thanks to a grant by the Medford Arts Council and the, and donation made by the family of Betty Sue Clark. The Mystic Makerspace is currently located at the Medford Public Library. Find more information at
